Moving from Testimonial.to

Bring your Testimonial.to testimonials across as a CSV. They arrive as pending for review — nothing is auto-published — and keep a record of where they came from.

1. Export from Testimonial.to

In Testimonial.to, export your testimonials to CSV. Text testimonials export in full; for video testimonials the text and rating come across (the video file itself is not imported — see below).

2. Import here

Go to Collection → Imports → New import and upload the file. We recognise a Testimonial.to export and pre-fill the column mapping. You then see a preview: the detected source, a few sample rows exactly as they will be imported, and the counts. Check the sample rows — in particular that the "text" column really is the testimonial — and confirm.

If a column is not recognised, map it yourself before confirming. The import works whether or not detection matched.

What comes across

  • The testimonial text, the person's name, role, company, rating and date.
  • The source URL as provenance.

What does not

  • Avatars and video files are not imported in this version. A video testimonial's text and rating come across; the video does not.

Re-uploading is safe

Import the same file twice and the rows that already imported are skipped, not duplicated — you are not charged twice. We match on the item's own id when the export carries one, otherwise on the text plus the contact's email and name.

It still lands in the queue

An import never publishes in bulk. Everything arrives pending, and you approve what you want to show.
