Moving from Senja¶
Already collecting testimonials in Senja? You can bring them across as a CSV. They arrive as pending for review — nothing is auto-published — and keep a record of where they came from.
1. Export from Senja¶
In Senja, export your testimonials to CSV. Export the text testimonials; video testimonials come across as their text and rating (the video file itself is not imported — see below).
2. Import here¶
Go to Collection → Imports → New import and upload the file. We recognise a Senja export and pre-fill the column mapping for you. You then see a preview: the detected source, a few sample rows exactly as they will be imported, and the counts. Check the sample rows — in particular that the "text" column really is the testimonial — and confirm.
If we do not recognise a column, map it yourself before confirming. The import works whether or not detection matched.
What comes across¶
- The testimonial text, the person's name, role/tagline, company, rating and date.
- The source URL as provenance, so you can trace each testimonial back.
What does not¶
- Avatars, video files and tags are not imported in this version. The text and rating of a video testimonial come across; the video does not.
Re-uploading is safe¶
If you import the same export twice, the rows that already imported are skipped, not duplicated, and you are not charged twice. Senja items carry a stable id, which we use to match them exactly.
It still lands in the queue
An import never publishes in bulk. Everything arrives pending, and you approve what you want to show — the same review step as every other source.
